It stays on my daughter’s head. The strap cinch is gentle and the elastic in the back make it more difficult for her to take off. It’s really cute, too! The only bummer is that it isn’t super breathable so her head sweats a lot while wearing it.
The hat is beautiful and great material, but it is very limited in size adjustments and the chin strap doesn’t stay tight. The hat design would benefit greatly from a moveable adjuster for head size around the top, and even more from a way to secure the chin strap (like a button, or anything else to hold it in place when closed).
